Despite the name, albino cockatiels are technically a combination of two mutations—lutino and whiteface—which removes all yellow, orange, and grey pigmentation from their plumage.

1. Appearance: Albino cockatiels are completely white with a smooth, sleek plumage. They have bright red or pink eyes, which is a hallmark of the albino mutation. They lack the orange cheek patches found on typical cockatiels due to the whiteface gene.

2. Size: Like other cockatiels, albinos grow to about 12 to 13 inches (30–33 cm) in length, with a long tail and a slender crest on top of their head.

3. Personality: Albino cockatiels are gentle, affectionate, and intelligent. They enjoy human interaction and can form strong bonds with their owners. They are playful, social, and often enjoy being part of family activities.
